Industrial inspection often requires evaluating complex assemblies, overlapping materials, or components with widely varying densities. Conventional radiography can make it difficult to distinguish these structures in a single grayscale image, while traditional dual-energy systems often require multiple exposures that introduce workflow complexity and the potential for motion artifacts.

Reveal™ 35C addresses these challenges with SpectralDR® technology. From a single X-ray exposure, the detector simultaneously generates conventional DR, high-density, and low-density images, providing additional material information without requiring multiple acquisitions or specialized workflows.

SpectralDR® technology: supplemental subtracted images for better decision-making on the move

Reveal™ 35C extends conventional digital radiography by separating information that would otherwise appear in a single grayscale image. Alongside the standard DR image, SpectralDR® technology generates supplemental high-density and low-density image sets from the same exposure, helping inspectors evaluate complex assemblies, overlapping materials, and components with varying attenuation characteristics.

Because all images are acquired simultaneously, no additional exposures are required, preserving workflow efficiency while eliminating motion artifacts associated with sequential dual-energy techniques.

Reveal™ 35C helps inspectors

Differentiate overlapping materials from a single exposure

Improve visibility of structures that may be difficult to interpret on conventional radiographs

Obtain supplemental image information without additional acquisitions

Integrate spectral imaging into existing radiographic workflows

Support quality control, research, and security inspection using compatible X-ray systems

Extract more information from every X-ray acquisition

Flexible Applications

Reveal™ 35C supports a broad range of fixed and portable inspection workflows across industrial, scientific, and security environments. Compatible with existing X-ray generators and established radiographic techniques, the detector integrates easily into new or legacy inspection systems.

Manufacturing Quality Control

Evaluate complex assemblies, castings, welds, and manufactured components with additional material information from SpectralDR® imaging.

Electronics Inspection

Differentiate structures within densely packed electronic assemblies and evaluate components without altering existing inspection workflows.

Aerospace

Support inspection of lightweight materials and complex assemblies used throughout aerospace manufacturing and maintenance.

Scientific Research

Generate additional image information for materials characterization and experimental imaging workflows.

Security

Provide supplemental spectral image sets that support inspection of suspicious objects and complex materials.

Reveal™ 35C: ASTM F792-17 Compliant

Reveal™ 35C complies with ASTM F792-17, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) standard that establishes performance and testing requirements for X-ray screening systems used in aviation security. The standard addresses image quality, radiation safety, system performance, and testing methodologies to help ensure consistent and reliable operation in security screening environments. Compliance demonstrates suitability for demanding security applications where dependable image quality and system performance are essential.
