KA Imaging Expands into Southeast Asia with Thailand and Singapore Approvals for Reveal™ 35C Spectral X-Ray Detector

WATERLOO, Ontario, 20 July 2026 – KA Imaging has expanded its international footprint with regulatory approvals in Thailand and Singapore for its Reveal 35C detector with SpectralDR® technology, enabling commercialization of the company’s spectral X-ray platform in two important Southeast Asian healthcare markets.

The approvals, granted by the Thailand Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA) and the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) of Singapore, represent an important milestone in KA Imaging’s Asia-Pacific growth strategy and broaden access to the company’s single-exposure spectral X-ray technology across the region.

In Thailand, the approval allows KA Imaging’s local partner, BJC Healthcare, to distribute the Reveal 35C detector across the country. In Singapore, the approval enables KA Imaging’s local partner, Eye-2-Eye Communications Pte Ltd, to commercialize and distribute the Reveal 35C detector, expanding access to the company’s spectral X-ray technology for healthcare providers across the country.

The milestone represents an important step in KA Imaging’s growth across the Asia-Pacific region, where healthcare providers continue to invest in advanced imaging technologies that can provide additional clinical information while maintaining existing radiography workflows.

The Reveal 35C detector features KA Imaging’s patented SpectralDR® technology, which simultaneously produces standard digital radiography, soft tissue, and bone images from a single X-ray exposure. By separating anatomical structures at the time of image acquisition, the technology provides clinicians with additional image information alongside a conventional radiograph.

“Thailand and Singapore are important healthcare markets and key parts of our strategy for expanding access to SpectralDR® technology throughout Asia-Pacific,” said Amol Karnick, President and CEO of KA Imaging. “These regulatory approvals mark another milestone in our international growth and reflect increasing demand for advanced imaging solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing clinical workflows.”

The approvals build on growing international interest in spectral X-ray imaging and follow continued clinical and commercial momentum for KA Imaging’s technology. Reveal 35C systems are being used in hospitals, mobile imaging programs, and global health initiatives around the world, including deployments supporting tuberculosis identification efforts in Kenya and Nigeria.

“BJC Healthcare is proud to partner with KA Imaging to introduce the Reveal 35C detector to Thailand,” said Teerawan Srisuk, Head of Healthcare Business, BJC Healthcare. “The technology offers healthcare providers access to additional image information from a standard X-ray exam and represents an exciting addition to the country’s diagnostic imaging landscape.”

Recent Regulatory Milestones

The approvals in Thailand and Singapore build on KA Imaging’s continued international expansion. In recent months, SpectralDR® technology became available in Colombia through local partner SIFEM, the Reveal™ 35C detector received its registration certificate in Pakistan, and the Reveal™ Mobi Pro mobile X-ray system became available in Hong Kong. Together, these milestones reflect KA Imaging’s ongoing efforts to expand access to its spectral X-ray technologies through regulatory progress and local partnerships in markets around the world.
